Since 1990 NACOSS has been the National Approval Council for companies in the Security Sector. Now integrated into the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), NACOSS enforces the standards by which many of the best security system installers operate. The NACOSS identity offers peace of mind that comes from a security system which complies with British Standards. As part of the NACOSS Regulations, installers must achieve Quality Assured status within 2 years of acceptance as a NACOSS Approved Installer and consumers can be satisfied that an installer who displays the NACOSS logo has undergone a rigorous technical examination prior to acceptance as a NACOSS approved company. This examination includes the company’s ability to meet :-

Using a NACOSS accredited company offers a guarantee that a company has undergone an independent and thorough inspection programme. Insurers also offer discounts on insurance premiums for premises which have a security system installed by a recognised NACOSS Company.

AFS was originally approved as a NACOSS Approved Installer in June 2001 and obtained QA certification in May 2002. June 2003 we met the requirements of BS EN ISO9001:2000 and NACOSS Gold Quality Schedule SSQS101 an are approved as NACOSS GOLD INSTALLER of ACCESS CONTROL AND CCTV SYSTEMS.
