Octar Compact
OCTAR Compact offers all the benefits of digital recording for smaller CCTV systems with up to 8 cameras. OCTAR Compact replaces the VCR and quad display or multiplexer elements of a conventional CCTV installation.
3 sizes of hard disk capacity (40, 80 160Gb) are supplied for up to 31 days continuous recording. Integrated video motion det-
ection, independently variable frame rates per camera, external alarm inputs and flexible recording schedules can dramatically extend archive time or increase recording rates at critical times.
OCTAR Compact records directly to hard disks and requires no daily changes of tape or other media. Images recorded a few moments ago are as readily accessible as those recorded many hours, days or even weeks ago. Playback is instant, even over networks and with full duplex (reply-while recording) operation.
Important recordings may be permanently copied onto the convenient medium of CD ROM using the optional CD writer. The software required to playback the images is automatically recorded onto the CD for installation and playback on any standard PC. Remote replay of recordings via a modem or ISDN is an option. |
