OCTAR System is the flagship of the Visimetrics family of digital recorders with it's huge available disk capacity, flexibility and almost limitless expandability.
High capacity hard-disk recording removes the need for daily change of tape or media, and means that images recorded a few minutes ago are as instantly accessible as those recorded many days or even weeks ago. Recording may be played back locally, over a network or over a dial-up connection - even from a
standard office PC.
An OCTAR System base unit has 4, 8, 12 or 16 camera inputs and one audio input. Multiple base units can be seamlessly networked together for larger installations. The switched video output (spot monitor) allows live viewing of any camera even from multiple recorders, either locally or across a network. Comprehensive security features include user logon, file encoding, protected system log and a detailed automatic audit trail system.
Duplex operation, flexible scheduling, integrated video motion detection, 16 alarm inputs, and 4 alarm outputs (including video loss) are included. All results in an optimal system for CCTV recording, but OCTAR's most powerful feature is how simple it is to use! |
